Your baby's safety is top priority!
Please read and follow these precautions when using our fitted, pouch-style carriers. meeUp Baby Carriers is in no way responsible for any accidents or injury associated with the use of our product.
} Your baby's airways should be clear at all times. Check to make sure that your baby's chin is not rolled forward onto his/her chest, and that you can see his/her entire face at all times.
} Newborns should be positioned in a semi-upright, or cradle position, exactly the way you would be holding them if you were not using the carrier
}Do not use the carrier with an angry or resistant child. Your older child can climb out, and is at risk for falling if he/she is not sitting still.
}Use common sense when wearing the carrier with a baby inside: Do not cook, drink hot liquids, ride a bicycle, drive a car, jog, bend without supporting the baby, take a boat ride, get your hair done, or any other activity that puts your baby at risk for injury. This is not a substitute for a car seat or a crib.
}Make sure your pouch is the correct size; the baby should be high and tight, there should be no room for the baby to shift position, and the baby should not be worn any lower than the top of your navel.
}Be sure that the bottom of the pouch is creating a complete hammock of fabric, and the sides are pulled up and visible both in front and back of the baby.
}Closely inspect the seams and fabric, do not wear a pouch that looks worn or threadbare.
}Keep the baby's head close enough to kiss!
